Official notification for faculty recruitment in 2025 has been given by NIT Warangal. In total there are 45 posts available at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor.

The application process started on November 12, 2025. The last date has been extended to December 31, 2025 11:59 PM IST.
Total 45 posts divided department wise as under:-
- Professor (Pay Level 14A): 2 posts
- Associate Professor (Pay Level 13A2): 8 posts
- Assistant Professor Grade I (Pay Level 12): 8 posts
- Assistant Professor Grade II (Pay Level 10): 27 posts

Eligibility Criteria for NIT Warangal Faculty Recruitment
Ph.D. is important in relevant discipline with First Class in preceding degree. Direct PhD after BTech/MTech candidates are also eligible if Bachelors is first class.
Age limits:
- Asst Prof Gr II: 35 years
- Asst Prof Gr I: 40 years
- Associate Prof: 45 years
- Professor: 50 years (relaxation up to 60 exceptional cases mein).
Department wise qualifications:
- Civil: BE/BTech Civil + ME/MTech in Construction/Environmental/Geotech.
- CS: BE/BTech CSE + ME/MTech CSE/AI.
- EE: Focus on Electric Vehicles.
Credit points minimum requirement for scrutiny but shortlisting par higher criteria.
