BITS Pilani has started the registration process for International Students Admission (ISA) 2026. Through this admission mode, foreign nationals can apply for engineering programs at the Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad campuses.
The registration process is completely online and applications are now open for the 2026 intake. Admission under ISA will be done strictly on the basis of SAT scores. Students must also meet the eligibility criteria set by BITS Pilani to be considered.
The last date to complete the ISA application form is 5 April 2026. The final date to submit the SAT score is 15 April 2026. So, if you are planning to study at BITS as an international student, make sure you apply on time and keep your SAT score ready.
How to Apply for BITS ISA 2026
International Students desirous of Foreign Student Admission to BITS may do so online through the website: admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in/FD/FD.html
The process may seem a bit confusing at first, but once you go through it carefully, it becomes easy to understand. Below are the steps to complete the BITS Pilani ISA 2026 registration:
- Visit the official BITS admission website.
- Scroll down to the Notices section and click on “ISA 2026 Application Open.”
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- After registration, log in using the credentials sent to your registered email or mobile number.
- Fill in all the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application form.
Make sure all information is entered correctly before final submission to avoid any issues later.

BITS Pilani ISA 2026 Eligibility
- Nationality: BITS ISA is open only to foreign nationals holding a non-Indian passport.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must have appeared or be appearing in Class 12 from a recognized board and should have a good command of English.
- Subject Requirements: Physics and Mathematics are compulsory for most B.E. and M.Sc. programs.
- One additional subject must be chosen from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
- For B.Pharm and B.E. Environmental & Sustainability Engineering (PCB stream), Physics and Biology/Mathematics are compulsory at the +2 level.
- Marks Requirement:
- Candidates must have: Minimum 75% aggregate marks in core subjects
- At least 60% marks individually in each subject
- Special Note for Biology Students: Students opting for Biology instead of Mathematics for B.Pharm must also study Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
- Bridge Course Requirement: Candidates who have not studied Chemistry in Class 12 will be required to complete a bridge course during their first semester.
- SAT Score Requirement:
- Minimum SAT score: 1160 out of 1600 (Reading & Writing + Math)
- Old SAT scores will be converted using official concordance tables
- SAT must be taken on or after February 1, 2024
- Eligible Candidates: Students who passed Class 12 in 2025 or are appearing in 2026 are eligible to apply.
